What you will be a part of Support and Services, a business area of Saab, supplies a wide range of services and integrated support solutions to customers in defence and on commercial markets for cost-efficient support of systems and platforms throughout their life cycle.
Airborne ISR (Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) is a Business Unit of Support and Services and provides, through co-operations with other Business Areas and Business Units within Saab, external suppliers and partners, complete Airborne Surveillance Solutions (such as Maritime Surveillance Aircraft and Maritime Patrol Aircraft with Anti-Submarine Warfare capability), Aircraft Integrations and modifications as well as Customised Integrated Logistics support to the global market.
Current customers operates mainly Saab 340 and Saab 2000 ERIEYE AEW&C, however, for future customers we are shifting focus to new platforms such as Bombardier G6000 for the GlobalEye and the Swordfish Maritime Patrol Aircraft.
At the moment we are looking for at least one Global Key Account Manager.
Your role As Global Key Account Manager you have the total responsibility for the Sales process which at least consists of building relations, understanding our competition, pricing and creating a winning solution.
The Sales process is performed in close cooperation with Customer Sales Responsible within the six Market Areas in Saab. You will be responsible for developing our current customers as well as new customers to create new business opportunities for Saab within our field of operations. You will manage, develop our current opportunities. You are responsible for your own business leads and you work close with our management team and department manager.
An important part of this role is that you understand and have the ability to build and maintain our international network within areas such as government, military and politic.
Your skills and experience We are looking for a well experienced businessperson with proven sales track record that thrives in a complex business environment. It is important that you can adapt to the challenge at hand, i.e. when required, you are a team player and you can act in close cooperation within Saab’s Market areas as well as towards other areas inside or outside Saab.
This in combination with a self-motivated entrepreneurial attitude. You need to be comfortable interacting with Swedish and foreign Government representatives. You have appropriate professional or postgraduate qualification in a business oriented or technical discipline.
As a Global Key Account Manager you are expected to act as a leader who can influence and motivate teams, internally as well as externally, and you are also expected to be an excellent communicator. Furthermore, you need to have the ability to make (or prepare) important business decisions and have a business analytic mindset on a strategic level. You have a strong driving force, perseverance and ability to generate energy. You can build and maintain large networks.
You have previously worked within sales of complex technical products in international environment or sales of critical infrastructure project such as Power plants, Civil works, Railway projects. Experience in the Defence sector is preferable.
