Troostwijk AB is a subsidiary of a group that is Europe's largest industrial auction company with representation in 15 countries. The Group had a total of about 1,300 auctions around Europe 2015. Troostwijk AB has been around for 10 years and is responsible for the Scandinavian market.
Troostwijk has operated since 1930 and has become the biggest industrial (online) auctioneer in Europe. We are proud of what we have achieved in the past years. Our sales volume increases year on year as indeed does the number of countries we serve. The expectation is that this growth will continue and we are now looking for a a successor for our current Country Manager in Sweden to help us grow our business even more, both in Sweden and in Scandinavia.
The Country Manager organizes acquisition activities to retain existing customers and to attract new customers. In a proactive manner you will be looking for new potential customers and create your own network in this way. In addition, it belongs to your scope of activities to maintain contact by means of telephone and appointments with prospects and existing customers and to advise them when necessary. You also prepare quotations and ensure the follow-up thereof, with the purpose of acquiring new auction assignments.

Profile As a person you are curious, humble and passionate about relationship selling. Your social skills and personal drive make sure you find a good balance in your approach to working with sales. You create business by consultation and personal approach to each individual customer. As a person you are goal-oriented, independent, social and communicative. It's important you are a good team player, with the ability to develop the business together with other employees within the Troostwijk Group.
Experience You have a HBO (Higher Professional Education). You have a technical background with at least 5-7 years work experience in a job with a similar dynamic. Demonstrable commercial successes, preferably in the area of sales of industrial capital goods. Advantage if you have experience from selling machinery within agricultural-, food- or metal industry. You have a good spoken and written command of the English language. You have knowledge of and experience in working with CRM-packages.
